Speaking with reporters at the White House, President Trump announced his administration’s plans to support a lawsuit which he said “essentially terminates Obamacare.”
The president said he and his administration are currently “coming up with plans,” including the lawsuit, while stressing his intention to terminate the program.

“That’s the Texas lawsuit,” Trump said, regarding the pending suit, “We think it’ll be upheld, and we think it will do very well in the Supreme Court – and if the Supreme Court rules that Obamacare is out, we’ll have a plan that is far better than Obamacare.”
President Trump campaigned strongly on his plans to repeal and replace Obamacare during the 2016 election, and with 2020 fast approaching, the much-maligned healthcare program is once again in his sights.
