In a recent tweet, Democrat socialist and newly-elected New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, also bringing in his daughter, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.
Ocasio-Cortez made her comments in response to mockery coming from Huckabee over her election celebrations and plans, including her apparent likening of her election to that of the lunar landing.
Huckabee, like several other Republican lawmakers and pundits, voiced concerns that the young Congresswoman may not be up to the task.
Ocasio-Cortez compares her election to moon landing. Huh? Big difference. Moon landing was LUNAR, not LOONEY; Moon landing done by ppl who knew what they were doing…those who elected someone who thought there were 3 branches of Congress did NOT. https://t.co/Kc3nvvByN3

Ocasio-Cortez replied, doubling down on her comparison, and pointed out that her plans for a focus on green energy would “take a level of ambition [and] innovation on the scale of the moon landing.”
However, the young Congresswoman wasn’t finished, and dragged Sarah Sanders into the argument by telling Huckabee to “Leave the false statements to Sarah Huckabee,” adding, “She’s much better at it.”
Since her upstart victory in the November midterms, Ocasio-Cortez has drawn mounting criticism from both Republicans and Democrats alike for her use of social media, as well as comments made regarding grandiose plans for new policies and changes to existing ones.
A Green New Deal will take a level of ambition + innovation on the scale of the moon landing. We’ve been done it before, and can do it again.
Leave the false statements to Sarah Huckabee. She’s much better at it.
Also, you haven’t been a Governor of any state for 10+ years now. https://t.co/R7q5CkMw8YLoading...
