WATCH: Trump Campaign Fires Back After Pelosi Says “Don’t Run”

In a recent video from Rolling Stone, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had a stern message for President Trump, and bluntly suggested that he “not run” for re-election in 2020.

While Pelosi and other Democrats, including Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have captured the attention of the mainstream media, her suggestion for Trump also caught the eye of the president’s 2020 campaign, who quickly responded.

Kayleigh McEnany, President Trump’s 2020 campaign national press secretary, discussed Pelosi’s remarks during a recent interview.

“There’s zero chance of that happening,” said McEnany, adding, “I can tell you, the president is excited for this campaign. He’s geared up, he’s ready,” and called Pelosi’s remarks “pathetic.”

McEnany said Pelosi “should spend less time paling around with a socialist, and a congresswoman with anti-Semitic remarks, and spend more time focusing on working with the president.”
